I have seen the '97 RedHots and have been very impressed by them. They hang with all the 2nd year 12U teams. They are a very scrappy athletic team.

The 97' Red Hots are impressive, but they are not hanging with ALL the 96 teams because most of the good 96 teams are playing 14U.

They beat the Aces this past weekend and only lost to them by 1 run the other time they played them. The also hung with the Kaos. I would put those 2 96 teams up against anyone. So yes the Redhots ARE hanging with the best 96 teams.

97 Texas Red Hots - Great players, great coaches, able to play and hang with the older teams
Placing in all the tournaments they have played this fall. Bright future if
the team stays together.

95 AL Kruzers - Have won 4 straight tournaments as a 1st year 14u team this fall. 2 - 1st
place wins in 14u, 2- 1st place wins in 16u. Coaches/ players know how to
win. Great things are coming from this team. Look for them to go 18u early.

Still thinking on the 16u teams that wow me!

I got a chance to see the 18u Ronald McDonald and have an opinion on some of the Gold Teams from the fall....again this is just one opinion of one old man (not meant to offend anybody):

Texas Blaze Gold: This team is the real deal! It may have some of the Best pitching in the state! Overall a very good team at every position!

Impact Gold: Still very very good....but did seem to not look near as good as they did last year?

Texas Aces Gold: Super talented with great pitching and awesome Hitting! Very well coached and seem to have all the right pieces.

Texas Fusion Gold: Very well Coached....and as well seem to have a great mix of power and speed. The First baseman this team has is an awesome hitter and I was watching waiting for her to hit one out every time she came to the plate!

Texas Bombers Gold: This team is without a doubt one of the fastest teams in the state! They run bases better than any team I have ever seen. Play great defense and can hit with the best of them....pitching may need to get better to make serious run at OKC.

Texas Glory Gold: They seem to just reload every year and can field a team that you know will have a great chance of qualifying...this year is no different! Great team with great coaching!

Houston Power: Very good team! Well balanced with adequate pitching....they have a great group of hitters!

Again these are just my observations and are in no way meant to be negative toward any team!
