Why is '93 Texas Eclipse playing in 14U??? I know that they are allowed, but in my opinion, they should be ashamed of themselves.

I agree, but I would be willing to bet that they are not the only ones with 93's on there roster.

I'll give it a shot since DD's team didn't get in this year.
Top 4 in any order:
Hawks
Magic
High Voltage - Not sure which HV team is which now, I think TX HV is the one I am thinking.

Watch out for TPS 95 though. They can always jump up and bite any of the older teams on any given day. Look for them in the top 8.
A lot of these teams I haven't seen this Fall so it is still hard to tell. Most have been playing in older divisions and not in tourneys that I have been at.
Eclipse 93, well it happens, sometimes the team can't get into the older age group so they get pushed down. Sometimes a team signs up early not realizing they should be expected to play in their future age group. Regardless, I doubt anyone will be putting them in their top 4 list.

The Team that won the 14-U last year was a team with more players than not who after Jan ! would have been required to play 16-U South Texas Elite? was a good team.
Watched them and the Peppers 94 go at it. Might have a rematch this year as well.

The RMD people want you to play in the age group that you are planning to qualify in. This is nothing new. Check the past winners, and you will see that most of them were what some are calling older teams. They can play in 14U if they are legal.
Why did TPS, Blaze, Glory( Cruizers ), etc..... play 12U last year. They wanted to win at the best tournaments. They could have competed at some or most 14U tournaments from what I have heard ( I have never seen any of then play). Everyone has to win on the field. You will soon realize that you should only worry about your team and your daughter. Tournaments are less important, the older your daughters get.

There will be many girls playing up and down in this tournament. Not all teams get in and some can only play if they play in a younger division. Also there are many girls who pick up with hopes of being seen. Some girls will play both weekends on different teams.
Fasterpitch speaks the truth about tournaments having less meaning as the girls get older. Free subs and no roster is the norm for exposure tournaments. Wins and loses mean nothing.

Is the Prinzo team the same one that took second in the Bombers tourney? They beat some impressive teams.

Who the heck is the Prinzo Team? and if they did beat some impressive teams in that tournament let's remember it was early in the season if I recall..............and for some teams it was their first tournament, and for others it was just their second.

Wow.... What a tournament. My youngest DD is just really starting and this was our first Ronald Mcdonald tournament to play in. Oldest daughter played some ball way back when, and the game has changed a lot since then!
What I learned:
My DD's team is NOT ready to play at the level of a LOT of these teams! I was only there because her team practiced there on Sunday AFTER they were eliminated! The umpiring that I saw was mediocre to say the least. I stayed and watched the championship between the Hawks and Magic and saw some of the craziest things I have ever seen. Illegal pitches that were not called ALL DAY were now being called in the championship game? Two of those gave the Hawks the first run of the game. 2 out bases loaded clean single up the middle, collision between SS and runner on 2b AFTER the ball was clearly through the infield (right OVER 2nd base) and the field ump called interference? He said he thought the SS had a play. I got news for him, Derek Jeter couldn't have made that play. Even the MC Magic laughed at that one! Cost the Hawks a run on that bad call. Just freaky things like that.
I am really surprised at how bad some of the umpiring is nowadays. There are some good ones, but there are some REALLY bad ones. I guess the $30 per game is just not enough for some to take the abuse that they take. (including this)
My impressions of the top 4 (as if anyone cares)
MC Magic: Beat us badly. They can hit the ball HARD and they are very smart on the bases! The do not make many mistakes. Good pitching rotation. One that I saw throws hard and the other throws junk. They can bunt and they can hit the ball when they need to. Very impressed with this team and their coaches. They deserved to win. This team is not flashy, but they are fundamentally strong. You make a little mistake and they take advantage! They are SOLID defensively and they took care of business this weekend. Congrats to them.
Hawks: Played 6 or 7 games on Sunday just to get to the championship. Very well coached team that is very aggressive. Snap the ball all over the field with no worries! Solid pitching and best overall infield that I saw all weekend. Watched them make play after play in the infield. 2B made two ESPN type plays on rocket shots in the championship game! Catcher picked off two runners on 3rd with NO OUTS in the game before the championship game. 3B has a rocket arm. Played well all day and beat some good teams. Would like to see them and the Magic play when both teams are rested! That would be a dogfight!
Velocity: Young team that made more mistakes than the older teams. Simple as that. Solid team that was consistently in every game that I saw. Really impressed with their play. They have some kids on this team that can MASH and they are still young. Made a few baserunning mistakes against the Hawks, but this team will be a force in 14U next year to be sure.
Power: As usual, solid play. These kids are good and just seem to be getting better! Well coached team that just gets it done. Like the Velocity, they are mostly 95s that just made a few more mistakes than the 94s that they played. Fundamentally sound in all areas of the game.
