Thanks ft,

Unfortunately, looks like the WAC will only exist for the
2012-13 season. It will be a shame if it implodes after that. I do
plan on traveling this year!

Texas Glory Gold (3-0)

One Loss

Houston Power Glowacz (3-1) - Lost a one run game to Ok. Athletics
Texas Blaze (3-1) Lost 5-2 vs TNT, bats look cold.
Texas Bombers (3-1) Lost a 1-0 game against SoCal Athletics.
Texas Eclipse (3-1) - Glory beat them 7-0.
Texas Impact Gold (3-1) -impressive run in loser bracket

Eliminated

Aces Express (2-2)
Texas Firecrackers (1-2)
Texas Glory Lusk (0-2)
Texas Rapid Fire Gold (0-2) -Two one run losses - what happened?
Texas Peppers Gold (1-2) - Inexcusable infield errors for a Gold team. There has to be someone on the bench who can make those plays.
Texas Sudden Impact (3-2)

If I counted right. There are 14 teams left in the tournament. 4 of those from Texas and 2 from Oklahoma. I would say TX/OK has fared very well this year.

Only 12 teams left, but 4 Texas and 2 OK is correct.

6 teams left total, two of those are from Texas. Most bookies would have favored the Glory Shelton and the Impact Gold as two Texas teams likely to go deep. Premier picked these two clubs to run their tourneys. They are so close -- can they finish strong?

Undefeated

Zero

One Loss

Texas Glory Shelton (4-1) - stayed in winners bracket the longest of any Texas team
Texas Impact Gold (7-1) -impressive run in loser bracket; lose the first game and win 7 in a row

Eliminated

Aces Express (2-2) - Seemed to fade near end of season compared to beginning.
Houston Power Glowacz (4-2) - Outperformed expectations due to injuries.
Texas Blaze (3-2) - Fundamental coaching errors cost them ITB - swing away in ITB, rather than bunt and squeeze. Power hitters went cold.
Texas Bombers (3-2) - Coaching and pitching hurt this team. Too much talent to go down so quickly.
Texas Eclipse (5-2) - Glory beat them 7-0, Ca Lite 3-2. Solid performance.
Texas Firecrackers (1-2)
Texas Glory Lusk (0-2)
Texas Rapid Fire Gold (0-2) -Two one run losses - what happened?
Texas Peppers Gold (1-2) - Inexcusable infield errors for a Gold team.
Texas Storm-Wymer (4-2) - Solid run, beat by Cal and Ga teams.
Texas Sudden Impact (3-2) - Under performed.

93 Players.....your assessment comes off as if you were there? I was and have a few issues with your evaluations of these fine teams that made it this far!

(Aces have a very young pitching staff and played well! They will be back!)
Houston Power Glowacz (4-2) - Outperformed expectations due to injuries. (Agree)
Texas Blaze (3-2) - Fundamental coaching errors cost them ITB - swing away in ITB, rather than bunt and squeeze. Power hitters went cold. (We all may not be aware of the decisions that make a coach make decisions)
Texas Bombers (3-2) - Coaching and pitching hurt this team. Too much talent to go down so quickly.
(Coaching? This team may have one of the best set of coaches out there? They seem to really coach there kids to play hard all the time! And my understanding they were down two pitchers , so 17th is solid if that was so?)
Texas Eclipse (5-2) - Glory beat them 7-0, Ca Lite 3-2. Solid performance. (Agree)
Texas Firecrackers (1-2)
Texas Glory Lusk (0-2)
Texas Rapid Fire Gold (0-2) -Two one run losses - what happened? (Sounds like it was tough luck to me)
Texas Peppers Gold (1-2) - Inexcusable infield errors for a Gold team. (They are well coached and solid every year)
Texas Storm-Wymer (4-2) - Solid run, beat by Cal and Ga teams. (Agree)
Texas Sudden Impact (3-2) - Under performed.
