Just trying to throw a little water on those other two threads. I love this game and what its meant to my family and I hate when stuff like that happens to it.

On the bright side, the Bucket hasn't seen this much action in a while

True. I wonder what the weather forecast is for Beaumont?

I see a couple of decent size storm cells heading that way - 40% chance of rain the weather man says.

I swear that Beaumont gets more rain than any place in Tx. :) :)

I don't think we ever played there without some type of thunder storm. I have had a lot of fun playing there over the years. What happened to Ford Park? They don't play softball there any more right? I'm a little out of touch I'm sure. Last tourney there for us was ..2 years ago maybe?
The kids will have fun rain or shine...

Yea, its a cool place, DD2 played in Beaumont with a really great bunch of california girls that came out here a few years ago. Agree about the rain there, I'm betting their annual is the highest in the state.

FT, just heard from a kid we know - they are in a softball tournament at Ford Park right now. So it is still being used.

Got a little rain today, glad I got the yard mowed this morning. It was nice out there too. Maybe winter is on the way?
If it ain't broke, why fix it??
