Lori, I challenge your kid NOT to play high school ball or even better, TELL the COACH to F.O. First, if you have lousy grades or board scores, you will have trouble going anywhere so High School is important. Second, if the high school coach says, alot of talent but no drive, GOOD LUCK in trying to land that spot on a college scholarship. Third, maybe your kid plays for the Impact Gold or some top team in California. High School stats do matter. They are one factor out of many. How did Blair Luna get to Texas. Would playing in the finals game in McCombs have made some impact on a Texas coach. Go ahead and preach your gospel. We would like to be successful in ALL SOFTBALL PLAY. Give 100% every play, every at bat. Go ahead and underestimate your opponents. We will out play you as you watch the balls go over your head while you are saying this does not matter.
