Texas Kaos 00 ASA 12A National Champions

by Inthegenes » Sun Aug 04, 2013 3:33 pm

For the first time in quite some time a Texas team brings a 12A ASA National Championship home to Texas. With a bracket record of 7-0, overall 53 runs for and only 3 against. They beat San Diego Power Surge in the final game 5-1. Congrats to Kaos

Your statement above is idiotic...who cares where "all" the So Cal teams are...a group of athletes worked hard and accomplished something...

I'm sure they did work very hard, I'm sure it's a great team. I was just stating the fact. So Cal has Won Asa 12u for a long time . The 7th ranked so cal team took 2nd in Asa . With all the Cali talent staying in Cali, Asa is now watered down , Fact ;)

This Kaos team may be the best young team to through Texas in a very long time. I coach a Gold team and watched this team play up this summer in at 14U tournament. They are very good. Socal, Florida, Alabama,,etc...It does not matter, this team could have been at PGF if they wanted to qualify. They have been blowing through everyone.....

Has there ever been a Texas team that won ASA/USA 12U Nats before? All the previous champions on the ASA website were from SoCal. Congrats!

To all the arrogant so cal / cal people we don't care about YOUR PGF. 12u PGF didn't have two Cali teams in the finals either. I guess the other one should have stayed home. It is California's problem that they created there own sand box to play in. Although PGF is a good orginization it does not have the history of ASA PERIOD. I understand the history of fast pitch and california but it is time to recognize other states and their advances in softball. Stop hating and embrace 12 year old kids for the accomplishment.

Congrats go out the Texas Kaos! Heard they have a lefty pitcher that can flat out get it done.
