Must be a 8U pitcher by how soft those the throws are.
After 4 years of football, a water skiing accident, 2 snow skiing accidents and 6 years of running around on steel deck plates, my knees were shot before I turned 25.
A bucket was great to sit on when I caught. I also wore shin guards because those softballs are not soft.

That's too funny - but what's the deal with catching with your mouth open?

DD was on a 10U rec all-star team where the dad of one of the pitchers would "frame" her pitches that way and then in game situations he'd go ballistic when the catcher wasn't "doing it right" and costing his DD strikes.
