Houston Area HS Softball 2014

The young lady can obviously spin the ball; however, down here in our classification there are some quality players. You may not see them week in and week out, but every year, a group of talent comes through a small town in Texas that loves softball and you end up with a great team! Great game today on both sides, and possibly, the 1A & 2A games may be the best the state has to offer this year. We will see!

Btw...next year, there will be no softball in Class 1A.

Ennis/ BH was a good game, but shouldn't have ended the way it did.

1A - Weimer wins
2A - Crawford wins 5-3.. By far the best team I saw in 2A. Good job, you deserved it.
3A - Lagrange wins semi final game 4-0
4A - Barbers Hill knocked out. Ennis showed a lot after the third inning.
5A - Deer Park in championship vs Woodlands. Should be a great game.

5A - Deer Park wins another State Title!!! Great job. I think a lot of credit goes to the coach. A true sign of doing what you have to do with the people you got. For the seniors, what a life long memory winning twice and going two out of your last three years!! By the looks of it, they could very well be back there next year!!

For us, I can't wait for next weekend in Tomball. Get to see all the Aces together again..
