Leaving UT - definitely. Ole Miss - rumor because her family has a friend in the AD. The line in the Statesman was I am leaving for a smaller school with a smaller feel. But there has to be more to that story. Coach seemed to have some disagreements with a few players after the season was over. Too bad. I wanted to see her finish her time here. Anytime you draw Alabama in the first round you know you are in trouble. But Coach Clark is one UT coach who is not delivering the wins.

I was at a Meet the Team night when she first came in. We were all on the field and Connie said, players give us a line of advice to the kids in the crowd. Barnhill said, "Never let a coach tell you that just because you are a pitcher, you cannot hit the ball." Believe in yourself.

Barnhill was an incredible talent in high school...and spoiled rotten. Hasn't done squat in the Big 12 and I'll bet a few she was told to shut up or ship out.

I would have to say that anyone who says Brittany is spoiled rotten and didn't do squat in college just basically doesn't know her and probably doesn't know squat. Without her this season, the Longhorns would have been worse than they were! She shouldered that team and did more than she should have had to do. Brittany has always been a tremendously unselfish person and player and a great ambassador for fast pitch in her community and surrounding communities. I am sure that her decision to leave was made with great difficulty. I would suggest, Joe, that you know nothing about her.

- Anyone who ventures out of pee wee travel ball ;)

In case anyone else but me, Go Rebs, Wormburner, Joe, 93 Players, and a-le-do cares, Torrey Schroeder (P) transferred out too. That leaves Tresselt and Craig, and any incoming freshman (Luna comes in this year?) as UT's only pitchers.

She is following her little brother that will be playing football there.

He is a TE that has signed to play for Houston Nutt and Ole Miss

Make no mistake - this was a decision that was made as a family.... <cough> Dad <cough>.
When asked how many times she hit Tiger with the golf club, she responded, "I'm not sure...put me down for an 8!
