D-Bat making an impression
How many more N. Texas organizations will lose teams and and good players to D-Bat. It appears that alot of the girls(or should I say parents) are looking for a change and to get away from the drama of the big 3 organazations...

Riidiculous. DBAT is the definition of a "big" organization. They have 40-plus boys teams in every age group from 8u to 18u. That is their stated intent on the girl's side with local, regional, and national teams.
Mulvany chose to go with the 10u and 12u age groups because these parents have no idea who he is. All they know is DBAT has a new hitting faciilty down the street from them.
Mulvany will either crash and burn as he has every time before, or DBAT will become as despised on the girls' side as they are on the boys side, which of course just means they win a lot!

Well you might be right. I have been out and watched alot of baseball. The D-Bat coaches on the baseball side appear to know what there doing. The boys appear to respect them and the organazation. They may be big(teams) in baseball, but we all know that will not happen on the softball side.
Most of N.Texas is watered down now anyway. But I do find it funny how someone like D-Bat comes in and wants to try and do something to benefit the girls everyone jumps on them and wants them to fail. I think the most important thing they could try and teach in TEAM... Who cares about the wins and losses, but to make each and every girl a better person on and off the field.

Don't be naive. DBAT and Mulvany want to make money. That simple.
DBAT's baseball owners most likely don't know that the guy they those chose to put in charge of their softball side universally lacks respect among the top travel programs and coaches because he has twice failed at building anything even closely resembling a successful local program much less a regional or national one.
If DBAT really was committed to some higher purpose of building a national powerhouse based in North Texas, they would have used their considerable weight, money, and influence to FULLY FUND the Texas Glory, permitting them to truly attract the best players in Texas. The DBAT baseball owners have no understanding of what it will take to build a successful softball program. The new DBAT parents will figure that out soon enough.

Seems to me that the ones slamming Mulvany the hardest are somehow associated with the big 3 in DFW and have or will be losing players to a D-Bat Team. With D-Bat and other experienced coaches along for the ride, I hope that this will give more girls a place to play. While it's sure that A -ball is the focus, at least there's a consideration for players who are not A-ball ready. The big three won't even give them a look. There are sure to be growing pains, but I'm interested in seeing how it works out.

I haven't gotten the feeling that Mark or D-Bat is in this for the money or for any other reason except the development of softball players. I think some of the so-called experts on here have nothing to do but point out perceived flaws in other, based on their own selfish motives. I know that the addition of softball will help D-Bat make money, but they have the potential for giving MANY girls the opportunity to play softball at their individual, plus support these girls in their development. All I have seen from the other organizations in my ignorant and naive state of bliss is that they only want the very best girls in each age group, then they will develop them for their own selfish purposes... isn't that what we seem to be accusing D-Bat of doing? Hmmmm...

What in the world are you talikng about? This is a discussion about linear vs. rotational hitting. Is it the Right View Pro thing? Mulvany uses it, but he's not the owner of the company.
You sure do have a beef with this guy. What has he done to you or your DD to bring out such vindictiveness?
