We've just recently seen RR Blaze, Austin Storm, & the Centex Sluggers. Nice people and fun to compete with.

However, I am NOT digging your screen name. Did you do it just so everyone would hate you or are you really one of those people. That mentality and argument seems to run wild in Central TX.

There's been two tournaments held already 1. Austin's Finest had 10 teams and 2. was the Valentines Day Massacre had 20 teams. Anybody got game results or info?

Austin Finest - Blaze (Spring Team), Stix Myrick (like them, good bats), Austin Storm 14, then a surprising Austin Storm 12u finishing ahead of powerhouse Wildfire....go figure????
Valentines Day Massacre - RGV Sting, ST Elite then 94 Nightmare (at that the truth)
Both tournaments were pretty weak compared to what's out there. Allot of quality teams aren't playing yet. Seguin this weekend should be pretty rowdy.......

RGV Sting over ST Elite? hmmm interesting. That S.T. Elite team made quite a bit of noise last fall.

Valentine Massacre was a good name for that tournament.

I heard a coach from one team talking to a coach from a different team say the format changed 3 times durring the tournament. Is was a 4 gg on Friday, then a 6 pool to a single e with all pool games being 60 minute drop dead when they got there on Sat morning, then after game 3 of the tournament is changed to 60 minutes finish the inning.

From what I saw there were not enough umpires, the games were 3 hours or more behind by the end of the day on Saturday. Games were moved to different fields to speed things up but there were no umpires and in one instance 1 team was moved to another field but the team they were playing was moved to another field. I heard several teams did not come back for the 2nd day of the tournament because things were so bad. Maybe thats why the teams that placed did as good as they did.

I think the S.T. Elite (which won the 2008 Ronald McDonald) had a bunch of there girls move up to 16U and High School.

I apoligize if I have been misinformed -
When asked how many times she hit Tiger with the golf club, she responded, "I'm not sure...put me down for an 8!
