So i just saw in facebook the replay of florida losing to georgia on a pinch hit homerun and again i thought the same thing now as i did then when i saw it live. Why didnt they throw a changeup? I know its great to second guess from the couch and all but ive been around the game of baseball and softball for a lont time now and once i started trusting the changeup it just changed games for me completely especially the way i called it.
I have never met a hitter that has said i love hitting the changeup.
Why isnt it called more often? When we played a great hitting team i would try to squeeze in at least one changeup to each batter if i could. Trust me it changed their body language in the box completely after seeing a changeup!
