I guess it depends on the coach. Some coaches don't talk to parents. I see coaches parade out their #1 pitcher while the #2 gets hardly any circle time even in blow out games. My DD's team would love to have that #2 pitcher. But I am sure there is some complaining in the stands among the parents.

Right, I'm just hearing a lot of pitchers with very sore shoulders and still have to pitch just about every game especially in tournaments.

Late to this party. That was my DD who started for Needville. Every once in a while, she lays an egg. That game was definitely an egg! Good thing that was the only egg of the season. Errors are what created our losses. Without errors we were able to beat teams like Foster.
