WELCOME to the home of the California Thunder OC-Travel fastpitch softball organization.

California Thunder OC was formed by Murray Sportsman, a coach with the original 1991 California Thunder 16U ASA National Championship team, founded by Tom Tucker of Glendora, California. California Thunder OC plans to continue the philosophies and traditions of the original program where Murray's coaching experience was at the 14U, 16U and 18U Gold levels within the organization. As a 2-time USA/ASA National Champion, Murray is currently the Manager/Coach of the California Thunder OC-98 team and Advisor to the '97 14U team.

This organization is made up of outstanding student athletes from throughout Southern California. They know how to compete, have fun, and play as a team.

In 2011, California Thunder OC's 14u and 12u teams completed a successful season.

- The 14u '97 team were the 2011 AFA State CHAMPIONS, and 2011 AFA Western National Finalists;
- The 12u '98 team were the 2011 AFA Western National CHAMPIONS

This season we have: 16u, '98-14u, '97-14u and 10u teams. All teams intend to compete in ASA, Premier & Triple Crown events as well as many other major tournaments.

California Thunder OC is pleased to receive the endorsement of 3-time Olympic Gold Medalist and California Thunder Alumnus, Leah O'Brien-Amico. Leah acts in a consulting, mentoring and advisory capacity to all teams in the organization.
