Located in the San Ramon Valley along the 680 corridor, the Valley Stompers are the "A" Travel Ball division of the San Ramon Valley Girls Athletic League (SRVGAL). Valley Stompers teams are very competitive, competing at some of the highest rated tournaments, and require a high level of commitment from the players and families.



Our goal is to develop mature, responsible young ladies with a passion and respect for the game. We play in top tournaments throughout northern and southern California, with options to travel out of state depending on the opportunities. We utilize best coaching practices in the areas of; skill mechanics (basic and advanced), mental aspects of the game (strategy, rules, and game philosophy), physical training (endurance, strength conditioning, injury prevention and athlete nutrition), and team spirit and fun through empowerment . We expect 100% effort and focus at practices and games. 



The 12U coach, Coach Steve Renfro has been coaching girls fastpitch softball for the past 10 years. In addition to coaching the premier 12U Valley Stompers, he is also a Varsity Softball Coach with Coach Joe Callaway at California High School in San Ramon, and is the current President of San Ramon Valley Girls Athletic League. Coach Renfro believes in giving the best possible playing and coaching experience to his players and does not carry a daughter on the team.
