16u Travel Lite is Looking for Players. We are looking for girls who want to play right away.

Don't let the name fool you we are a very competitive team. Our goal the 2009 season is to go to Triple Crown, like we did last year where we finished 17th in the top bracket(not international). We are already qualified for USSSA, and NSA. We may attend the USSSA 16B Championship, only because it's closer to home. We are not going to kill ourselves trying to get to ASA nationals. We have Minimal dues, and we fundraise. We generally stay with tournaments in the so-cal area. Every once in a while we go to Vegas or No-Cal. Not a lot of Hotel Expenses.

We are a team that is not going to burn the girls out. We have fun. We do light conditioning. We have our own cages. We mostly play in tournament's 2-3 weekends a month. While practicing once on the others. Generally we have 2 practices a week. Regular weeks we have batting Wed. and fielding on the weekend. Tournament schedule is Wed. batting and thurs. fielding. The coaches are very good with the girls. They are not screamers. A lot more is achieved by praise than by constant negative critique.

WE have a good base, we need more to fill out our team. If you are looking to start on a team, come on over and try out. If you are looking for a team you can afford, come on over. If you are looking for a team that encourages it's girls to have fun while playing the game they love, come over. If you are burnt out from your old team, come enjoy softball again.
