After beating Corona Santiago and making the semis at Bullhead City Chino Hills shows signs of being one of SoCal's top teams. They certainly looked impressive against Diamond Ranch though I'm not sure of the strength of the opposition.

The Huskies struck quickly as Parks singled up the middle, Snow followed with a single to CF and Girard bounced one over the LF fench for a run-scoring double. Gumz drove in 2 with what appeared to be a double but her slide carried her off the base and she was tagged out, Brannan then hit a solo HR to complete the scoring.
Meanwhile Tricia Parks retired the 1st 13 batters she faced before a walk spoiled the perfecto. She walked another in the 6th and 7th but held on to the no-hitter, striking out 9. The Huskies weren't quite through. An error and passed ball put a runner at 2nd in the 5th. Hoenish singled to LF and went to 2nd on the throw. FRom there Martinez drove them both home with a single up the middle.
