The 1st time the teams played it was 18-0 Edison so there was no reason to expect anything different in the rematch. But that is why we play the game.

Cordova vs Marshall
Sammy Cordova gave up a hit and HBP in the 1st inning then retired the next 20. That was somewhat expected but Hattie Marshall was almost as good. O'Connor singled in the 1st but the Chargers didn't get another hit until Karley Wester singled down the RF line in the 6th. She stole 2nd but was out trying to steal 3rd. O'Connor laid down a beautiful bunt single to open the 7th and was wild pitched to 2nd. For the 2nd time in a row Megan Feuerstein ripped a viscious liner right at someone. Casey Africano came up clutch with a bouncer up the middle to score the game winner.
