Disneyland Dreams

Having been a kid in the 60s when a trip to Disneyland was an epic event, the opinion piece, Who Killed The Disneyland Dream, in the NY Times today made me nostalgic, yet somewhat sad for my kids.

Then I realized that for my 13 year old, 12U ASA Nationals last summer, in all its hot and humid glory, was her version of the Barstow's Disneyland Dream.
