While I understand a father's frustration with his children, there is no way to warrant this action. A gun is not a toy. It is meant for protection or recreation (ie. hunting). This father's actions are far more concerning than his daughters. What does this say to his daughter, don't follow the rules and I'll use a fire arm. I in no way condone her actions, but to use a gun as a form of parenting is reckless!!

I hear you DonnieS from South Texas...and you're sadly mistaken. A cursing, angry dad who would pull out a gun, discharge the gun, and post it for all to see has issues my friend. The dude was so losing it... he couldn't even put down his smoke for five minutes while he filmed his idiotic rant.

I know the type...and his daughter is indeed heading down the wrong road...because dad taught her all too well.

I guess we can agree to diasgree. I have seen too many kids go bad because a parent wanted to be their kid's best friend - instead of being the parent. I believe in corporal punishment, though I have never spanked either of my daughters, cant say the same for my son. Guns arent evil to me as they seem to be to you - guns are tools and my kids are raised to see guns as tools as well. However if I felt i needed to be that drastic, I would have chosen a bat.

And regarding the smokes, some people smoke, they do - I detest it and wont allow it around me. I have a kid who came home from the military with that disgusting habit.

Let me bring up another situation - I think you are from texas, you may have seen or read about the family judge from up north here about 30 miles that caught his daughter stealing off the internet after he had warned her many times and he whipped the crap out of her. To tell you where I come from, I think he was in the right, and she needed to get a beating. I think he went too far - but then again look at what that piece of trash has turned into now. Extorting money from her dad - so maybe he didnt go far enough.
