Like I've always said...you don't have to believe me. Listen to what the liberal icons themselves have to say about our country, values, and way of life. Every policy they advance has the destruction of all three at heart.
As a member of the heybucket jury , I sense your desperation councelor.. The Michael Moore article was a hail mary pass that fell incomplete. The Van Jones resignation reminds all of us that the system works. People like you and I can call out this president when he mistakenly hires a nut like Jones. As far as Michael Moore is concerned....he's just trying to sell some movie tickets.
Juror? LMAO. Impartiality is a prerequisite for that job...something you sorely lack.
I could quote Nancy Pelosi if you would like. Or Barney Frank. Or Shmucky Schumer. Or Barack Obama. They all say the same thing.
I grew up with the radical left. Ran in their circles. I know exactly where they are coming from, and where they are trying to go. And anyone who listened to their words with a semblance of critical thought would know too.
The lesson learned by the left in the 60's is that a full frontal assault on our system and values won't work. So they changed tactics. Started infiltrating institutions to effectuate change from within. They also changed their rhetoric, advancing their agenda in touchy-feely language designed to sway the weak-minded. After all, who isn't against poverty, war, illiteracy, etc., in the abstract? They posit these inevitable realities as "evils," that they then purport to be able to cure. Well who wouldn't want that?
Problem is, socialism is an evil of epic magnitude. It is necessarily tyrannical, and leads to poverty, war, illiteracy, etc., on a scale unimaginable to people who grew up in the wealth, freedom and plenty of western democracy and capitalism. And since folks can't imagine it, they don't understand the danger.
As for Michael Moore, he is undeniably a liberal icon. He sells tickets precisely because there is a sizable segment of our society that buys into the propagandist garbage he's slinging.
