That was a Malibu with the 307. What motor is in there now? I see the high rise with the single 4 barrel carb.

ps voted. Family used to have a 72 Malibu

The FENDER was originally on a 307 Malibu...
This particular one was a 350 Malibu.

Now-a-days, it's a 454 "Malibu", although everything Malibu is gone.
Not going to make a fake/clone/tribute SS, but it has all of the Malibu options removed and SS options/trim in their places.

Thanks for the votes people! Feel free to go out there every day, or every time you've logged off your internet connection and back on.
Being from NorCal, what do I know anyway???

Looks like a fun project. I clicked the link and will do it again as often as possible.

my buddies parents back in high school had a 68 SS with the airplane style shifter. I believe it had a 427 in it

Very cool. Once had a 427 El Camino... what a rocket ship that was!

This has been a long term project and is slowly coming along. With both kids (that are still at home) playing baseball and FP, it's hard to find time to work on it right now, but they are very cool cars.

The contest ends in November, so I'm hoping everyone will continue to click on the link daily to continue to ring up "votes" for us!

PLEASE! Help us win this thing... Get everyone you know to click on the link from every computer they can - if you can see the car on day 1, you've voted. The contest runs until early November so please keep clicking!!!
