.... in this case it appears to have some truth to it, while making a point and being pretty funny ... but, I suppose the point you're making is that these dogs at the shelter shouldn't be getting free health care & begging for food when they are perfectly capable of getting a job ...
Actually, Mainline and Brookline are perfect examples of the private sector providing for the needy and saving them from a government-run institution that would ultimately kill many of them.
Absolutely ! ... A preferable option for sure ... just not enough Mainlines and Brooklines to go around ... as much money and time as my sister spends volunteering, taking foster dogs into her own home etc. ... It is more than a 2nd job ... but, she loves doing it ...
