I wonder how long it took that guy to figure out how to do that? I know I just threw the bat across the yard 4 times, hit my leg, my elbow, and now my hands hurt. I guess that trick is not for everyone. I'll try in a little later again.

The OP reminds me of this guy ... who I've met several times and seen more than that ... you really have to be a Old Timey or Bluegrass musician to appreciate it ... He plays in the Uncle Dave Macon style ... This you tube shows some of his banjar twirling near the end ...
