Arizona Girl in a Bar

A Mexican, an Arab, and a Arizona girl are in the same bar.

When the Mexican finishes his beer, he throws his glass in the air, pulls out his pistol, and shoots the glass to pieces. He says, 'In Mexico , our glasses are so cheap we don't need to drink with the same one twice.'

The Arab, obviously impressed by this, drinks non-alcohol beer (cuz he's a muslim!), throws it into the air, pulls out his AK-47, and shoots the glass to pieces. He says, 'In the Arab World, we have so much sand to make glasses that we don't need to drink with the same one twice either.'

The Arizona girl, cool as a cucumber, picks up her beer, downs it in one gulp, throws the glass into the air, whips out her 45, and shoots the Mexican and the Arab.

Catching her glass, setting it on the bar, and calling for a refill, she says, 'In Arizona , we have so many illegal aliens that we don't have to drink with the same ones twice.'

Nice. Funny how the you hear about the thousands of protesters but nothing about the hundreds of thousands of people in favor of Arizona including the 58% of Californians who approved prop 187.

So let me get this straight. The state of Arizona is being told they can't enforce federal immigration laws by the federal government who WONT enforce federal immigration laws because they think they are "unfair and unconstitutional". But pulling someone over without probable cause at a D.U.I. check point, asking any number of questions including sobriety testing is ok?

I really dont understand what the issue is. If you are in this country illegally, then you should worry. If you are intoxicated, then you should worry. If you are running drugs, then you should worry. Got it, ok, if you are doing something illegal, worry. If you are not, show your f-ing ID and shut up.

One of my brothers and I tan very easily and spoke reasonable spanish when we were younger. When we spent time along the border fishing on lakes on the rio grande, we would go across the border, buy tequila, etc. and would get questioned, asked for ID, and so on. It never occurred to us to be mad or upset about this, we had this goofy idea that the border patrol had a job to do and we should make it easier for them. They had a lot more things to worry about than two pissants that were trying to buy tequila - so we showed them ID, got across, and drank in peace.

I have a soon to be daughter in law from India. She is not a citizen. She has an IL. driver's license and a US passport. She is here legally, but she has more stuff to prove that, than I do.
