Help us out on a contest we've entered!

Off topic. Home for jokes and other misc. stuff.

Hey guys...

A few years ago, I started this project hot rod with my then 17-yr old son. Since then, we've done a lot of work but still have a long way to go. We're entered in a contest to win quite a bit of high-end hardware and all you need to do to help is to click on the link to view my picture that's posted to FLIKR. It's a shot of the way the car looked originally. The more votes we get, the better chance we have of winning.

The tracking system logs your IP address when you participate, so you can only vote once from each computer unless you've logged off and back onto your network. Please take 10 seconds to help a brother out!

To vote (and please do it daily!) the link is:

Done. Will repeat every time I log off/on. No problem.

Wish I had the skills to have done that with my son.

Good Luck,

John

Interestingly, I find it's not so much about the skills (event though knowledge is a wonderful thing!), it's really more about finding the time in between DD's softball, DS's baseball, DW's chores, and the occasional need to reduce the yard from corn back to grass... !

Thank you for the support!!!

HB folks could easily go Yao on this contest*. Obviously, even guests can help. Start establishing the HB crowd (gang?) as the force they are. Who knows, maybe others (maybe you) may benefit from this power in the future.

* Reference to the number of Chinese who vote for Yao Ming to be on the NBA All Star team every year. Will be interesting/funny to see how many votes he gets next year when he hasn't played one game.

Thank you for the support guys! HB doesn't have as many members as some sites that guys are posting to has, but you never know. A few friends have posted the link in Facebook too, so I know there's a few views going on...

Donnie, it's a Chevelle - yes. A '70 though...

Posted photos a minute ago from a site but the bandwidth allocation is exceeded already.

Here's a series of photos I just pushed up to Photobucket...

Haha! That car is a perfect candidate for "Pimp My Ride" on MTV!

To vote we just click the link to Flickr? Did that. Easy peasy Japaneasy! :)
Don't worry about tomorrow. You did that yesterday.
