My wife and our youngest daughter (about 5 or 6 at the time) were driving home one day and my daughter was hungry. Money was pretty tight at the time and they came up on a fast food place, DD said she was hungry and wanted to stop. My wife told her that we had no money and that she would have to wait until they got home to eat. They passed several more fast food places and DD kept asking to stop, my wife finally said, in a raised voice, "I TOLD YOU WE DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY!" DD replies in an equally raised voice "THEN WHY DON'T WE JUST GO TO THE BANK?!"
