The Viking/Saints game had so many missed opportunities and amazing comebacks. In and interview before the game Farve said he thinks the toughest thing to overcome is dealing with the noise in the Superdome. Coping with 4 quarters of screaming home team fans is mentally draining. It affected the game and in the end was probably the biggest factor/reason Farve made that bad throw in OT, combined with all the hits he took.

Farve is the all time leader in interceptions. The experts seem to forget this as they bow to him. He is definitely a good player, he takes chances that don't always pay off, and this one just cost him at the end of a big game.

I don’t know who will win the Super Bowl but I would like to see both QB take some hard blows and then see who comes out on top. I don’t think Drew or Payton can take multiple shots and win.

You're going to be disappointed. Manning rarely gets touched, much less a shot. The Colts D, though they do pressure the QB a little bit, and are now blitzing with a new DC, they don't get big hits on opposing QB's very often.

As far as Manning not taking shots and winning, you need to keep in mind, he's missed ONE snap in his NFL career, that's when he came out of the game with a broken jaw. He went right back in the next series. You can say what you want and most people don't think of him as an iron man, mainly because he is smart, and he doesn't take a lot of shots, but he's a gamer. You might also recall a broken thumb on his throwing hand during the comeback against the Patriots three years ago in the AFC title game.

The Colts offense is quite simply the best in the league. When it's clicking, there isn't anyone who can stop it. They make it look so easy. Will it be clicking Sunday, who knows? I look for a decent game, but I think the Colts cover. A lot of people are predicting 70-80 points being scored I don't see that happening. I see it being 24-16, 27-20, 30-24, something along those lines.

I will agree with "it's clicking, there isn't anyone who can stop it" .. thus far any way ...But the Colts were ranked 9th in total Offense, guess who was ranked 1st ... The Saints

The Colts also had the 24th ranked rushing defense and held the #1 (Jets) ranked rushing team to 86 yards rushing in the AFC championship. I'll take the Colts O against anybody, anytime.

It's unfortunate for Favre. The rest of the team unfolded around him.(fumbles) I just wished he had slid on the ground instead of throwing that last one. I'm sure it will haunt him for the rest of his life. One QB slide and it is field goal time. Die hard Saints fan, just wishing the old dog got one more chance.

On that last pass attempt in regular time, Favre maybe could have slid to a 53 yard fieldgoal distance. I think I take the pass as my best option. If the pass is complete now you have Longwell at 43 yards.

For all those who have criticized Favre for throwing instead of running on that last play against the Saints, check out Brett's left ankle and his right hamstring.

That he even finished the game is testament to why he is football's all-time iron man, the toughest football player I've ever seen.
