Influence flimshnooence. They always talk about the Sex Pistols' influence when they justify calling them a top 5 rock band of all-time or some such nonsense. The band is practically unlistenable.

Now Nirvana...their influence can be heard in substantially all modern rock and alternative music. And they sounded great. Plus they hail from Seattle, Skarp's hometown. I actually prefer Alice in Chains though.

Didn't that song go on to become the youth sport's parent's anthem?

Just a couple of weeks of softball being rained out and we have degenerated to naming bands. LOL...

Anyway, where are all the metal heads. Just read a study that was published out of USC. Study confirms that people that listed their favorite music to be Heavy Metal in the 70's and 80's went on to become the most successful demographic in the country. I wonder why and how that happened. LOL.. Skip school, forget to do your homework, rock out and toke out all night, sleep until 1:00 pm, disrespect your parents, spend weekends drinking and partying with friends and become the most successful demographic in America. LOL.....
To each their own.

Well now the most successful demographic is rap, so that should tell you something about the direction we're headed in. Never go to school, "homework, what's that?", gang bang, sell crack, put together a band with your piece of sh*t gang-banging friends, make "music" that has dogs howling for miles around and become the most successful demographic in America. What a country. (Where's the projectile vomit emoticon?)
