If the rebel flag should be abolished then so should the democratic party for history sake. The Emancipation Proclamation was opposed so much out of the dems that it would have never passed if it was up to them (16 of 66 in the House, 3 of 8 in the Senate) versus 100% for republicans. That is an overwhelming account considering they are the party of (point at the republican racists) now a days. But this is now and that was then...right? So we need to abolish the democratic party, take them out of the Capital, the Senate, the House, and the POTUS on the grounds of what they stand for in history... slavery which in turn is racism.

Do it! Kill both of the big parties while you're at it. The 2 party system is killing us, especially the extremists on both sides.

The Confederate flag flew over South Carolina because of a Democrat governor, Ernest Hollings. He raised it the 60's. The removal was attempted in the 80's by a Republican governor named Beasley, but he ran into opposition by the Democrats and was not reelected because his actions to remove the flag.
A Democrat raises the flag, a Republican governor tries to lower the flag and gets thrown out of office because of it and now a Republican removes it, yet the media says this is a Republican problem?

Without a neutral "watchdog" media, this country is in trouble. I had noticed this "media slant" during the Reagan years. So, I had turned to different news programs and was noticing the same thing: most stories were given a "slant" to make the democrats/liberal point of view.

Why do you think Rush Limbaugh and the other conservative radio shows started springing up in the early '90's? Fox News popularity is due to the fact that BOTH sides of an issue are presented and discussed. The reason Democrats and the liberals demean Fox News is because that is the only way the can win a debate on the facts....so they try to shout out the other voices and the lamestream media follow suit.

Most of America watches (listens?) to Fox News because it gives traditional viewpoints a voice - whether you are a Democrat or Republican, traditional, non-progressives have a medium they know it telling the facts about an issue.

Yes it is. Strange , in that i have worked in the north east , california, illinois, Arizona and of course Texas. The state that is by far the most easy to start a business in , is Texas. The states that have the most hassles, taxes, red tape, to starting a business to my eyes anyway, were New York and California.
