It seems that there is alot on the internet about this " Tale of Two houses " ... It appears that at the time that this story started circulating ( early to mid 2000's ) that the numbers were correct ... The Gore supporters seem to want to offset the numbers by stating that the power company that the Gores get their service from uses green energy ... in any event, although they keep home offices, it does seem that for a residence, they use a sh*t load of power ... Since the story, the Gores have made imrovements to their power consumption ... but not to the extent that the Bush's have with the geo-thermal ... here are two links, one from the green side and one from Fox ...
