An experience so special to me personally and spectacular there is no way for my vocabulary to describe.
It was the soundtrack of my senior year in high school. It was the record that my mother would not let play me when she was in the house(because it was too depressing and weird).
It's about different things for different people but to me...

Good and evil
Love and Hate
liberty and the State
fear and acceptance
war and peace
complacency and conformity and commercialism

It's a masterpiece full of Jungian Archetypes and symbolism. (if you like that sort of thing)

GO..Just Go.

If you cannot go there is this excellent 3 camera shoot documenting the entire show.
But don't watch it if you are planning to go to the concert.

I just got 4 tickets..I'm going again!! I'm so excited.
If you never see another rock concert in your life..don't miss this show.
You won't be disappointed.

...eluding...

Sorry, but I pick nits when it comes to Pink Floyd.

Like Sid spelling Syd Barrett incorrectly. You really should ask the mods to fix that for you.

In the above lyric, who was "sunshine?"

Bonus if you don't have to google it. :ugeek:

I caught the error after i wrote it- I was rushing and was caught up in the moment-

If I recall--- "Sunshine" was in reference to a fan

did i forget to tell you when u signed up for heybucket we have spelling tests

in this case it wasn't so much the spelling as the meaning...

although in some context, "alluding you sunshine" may have interesting possibilities...

Wrote it from memory- now I'm humming and singing Floyd songs all day- my son thinks I'm nuts- especially when a very cheery version of "Bike" is belted out.

Perhaps I will crank up "The Wall" and annoy my neighbors
