I did not see the game, but I thunk the new rules were that both teams had to have at least one possession in OT ... Is that not true in the playoffs

Both teams are guaranteed a possession, unless the first team score with a touchdown. Broncos scored a touchdown, game over.

So the possession by the kicking team is only guaranteed if the first team scores a FG on their first possession ? Guess I had it wrong all year ...

Yes- weird rule- I guess hey are trying to avoid three plays and a cheap fg to determine the game

there was a beef about the % of teams that won based on the flip, regardless of home or away. its exactly that to avoid a cheap or long game finisher on the opening possession of OT.

If you saw the game, you may have seen the ESPN 'analysts' , after the game , all do a mock of Tebow's stop to say a prayer. Can you imagine the uproar if Tebow was muslim and the analysts made fun of him - but of course they wouldnt have had the balls to make fun of a muslim.

Had he pulled out a prayer rug, got on his knees and started reciting the Koran, I'm sure the bobble heads would have something to say about it. As would the NFL.

I too am surprised the Christian army hasn't already launched an attack on the networks. But it's still early on a Monday...

They can't make fun of Muslims because there is no fun in Islam. I suspect if Christians and Jews started killing journalists, the mocking would cease in fairly short order.

And with all the powers Obama has given himself to imprison folks, no wonder the bobble heads are concerned.

Fortunately next week this won't be a topic, because Gisele's husband is going to destroy the Broncos.

After watching that TD live, I had to take a bath to clean myself up.

BTW, the defender that got stiff-armed apparently tweeted congratulations to the Broncos and apologized to his team and Steeler fans for playing so poorly. Not bad. Not bad at all.
