OT - too much homework?

I know absolutely nothing about the rules of grammar. Goofed off all the way through school, most of the way through college, and all of the way through grad school. I literally have to ask dd if I have a grammar question (e.g., when I'm helping my boys with their homework)...because she hasn't been given the option to screw around like I did.
