Nominate threads/posts for the corn field

Off topic. Home for jokes and other misc. stuff.
Keep it reasonable.

NU, Spaz and crew do an okay job, but I really think I'd be a better board moderator than they have been. For instance, if I was the moderator the renowned "Softball Soldiers" thread would still be up and going strong, whereas this thread

viewtopic.php?f=401&t=4447&p=48277#p48277

would have long since been put out to pasture...a giant trade up, I think we all can agree.

Seriously, do people actually follow this thread? And what in the hell could it possibly be about now (at 48 pages and 479 posts)? Surely not 12U rankings still. (??) If not, for Godsakes start another thread with a pertinent title. Or if so...holy crap get a life. (And hey, when I'm telling you to get a life, you know you've got serious issues.)

Feel free to nominate your own personal favorite(s) for a trip to the cornfield.

While threads like the "SS" have a definite Springer-like appeal there actually are some softball related discussions going on here :o
Our lawyers also prefer the 12u ranking type threads over the others :?

Now, off to the cornfield with you

So 479 posts about 12u softball rankings?? The mere thought of it is oppressive.

Yeah, but if this thread is deleted then your response gets deleted, which means the thread wouldn't have been deleted.

You're really playing with fire there, as the very fabric of the universe could be ripped apart, and the time-space continuum as we know it could cease to exist. Hell, anyone who's ever watched Back to the Future knows that.

...But if delete the thread, and by association the response gets deleted ... is that not a double deletion, which in theory would mean that they still exist in another dimension ... ? :o

So, when you turn off a light, does the light then cease to exist ?

No. It still exists in another dimension.
