As I remember, the group that captured him had their chance. They started but didn't finish the job. If they were sure who he was, they could have done California a big favor by killing him.

I remember it was one of those hot summers and no one was leaving their windows open. He was caught in East LA and every TV show cut away to cover his capture and arrest. Funny seeing on TV all the home boys that took part in the beating of Ramirez, he picked the wrong neighborhood to steal a car. He was lucky they didn't beat him to death. Rest in Hell.

I still can't sleep with my window open. That was a terrible time. Until we man up and kill these types we wll continue talking about remember when. We are a soft society that needs to grow a pair. At least we don't have to feed him anymore.
