A class ball player and a firt ballot hall of famer. I wish more athletes could act, carry themselves and perform like Jeter has his entire career. He will be missed.

I say good riddance and take the rest of the Spankies with you!! :o

I can't stand NY but they found a gem with Jeter. Gotta give to him.

Jeter is a class act as was other Yankees (e.g. Mariano Rivera) and he is going to receive a ton of gifts and attention this year on his farewell tour like Mo got last year. Derek has been very generous giving out gift baskets (see Jeter gives autograph swag to one-night stands). I hope lots of teams give him variations in return.

I heard the last regular season game is at Boston. Should be pretty special.

I will also say the gift basket Jeter gave me was pretty nice.
