A question I have wrestled with for 20yrs.

Off topic. Home for jokes and other misc. stuff.
Keep it reasonable.

I have wrestled with this question for over 20yrs now and will ask you.
Best friend vs dearest friend. Sounds simple,,,
So,,of course your wife is you best friend and alia, this is a given.
You are allowed another best friend as well. Usually male or same sex as you.
Next runner up is your dearest friend who just doesn't have the title as best friend.
Which is better? To be considered a best friend, when there are 2.
Or to be a dearest friend and be number 1.
I see further, because I stand on the shoulders of giants

Your premise is flawed

But is he "good flawed" or "bad flawed"?

I think we need clearer definitions of best friend and dearest friend. Is this what you mean?

Best friend traits
- First choice when socializing.
- Willing and able to help each other out
- Common interests

Dearest friend sounds more like an emotional or sentimental attachment. You hold their friendship in high regard even if they are unable to fulfill BF duties (e.g. distance, illness, etc.).

I posted this very same question on facebook. With the friends names.
Pdad you are a very sharp scary tool. Just saying.
Spazsdad believe it not in a queer strange way was correct in his response.
My 2 male friends laughed and had no issues with the ranking.
My DW was pissed, she would rather have the lower status and be number 1, than share an upper status with another and be 2.
It was flawed, what a waste of good mental space.
