The heading for Pub is "jokes, and other misc stuff " This is not a joke, well maybe on me.

At 57, and still trying to not look as pitiful as I see a lot of my high school classmates, (yes there was high school back in those days), I do my daily working out, very minor compared to what I did back when. It wouldnt embarrass me that when I come into work out - and say my son had just finished working out, I would then lower the weights so I could work out without dying. Thats not too bad. But damn, I come in, my daughters have finished working out, and I really need to lower the weight so I can work out. From what my daughters do - pitiful. Today - I left it alone, and both my shoulders are shaking, my arms both feel like jelly - I started to lower it before I lifted - and my son walked in, saw me messing with the machine , started grinning and walked out.

Young punks, enjoy your youth.

Keep at it D-man ... as you know from our PM's that I work out every day ... upper body one day and lower the next ... cardio almost every day ... my goal seems to be to keep any remaining muscles from disappearing rather than bulking them up  ... some days at the gym are harder than others  ... mix it up if it starts getting to easy and keep your muscles challenged ... remember to work the muscles both ways ( pushing then pulling ) ... if your bench pressing, take a rest and then do a row maneuver ... another week or two and the shaking shoulders and jelly knees will feel great instead of scary ....

By the way, I think that Amy and I deserve HeyBucket t-shirts for - her applying the burn and me being the burnee.
