Nfl finally does the right thing. Surprised it took this long and the Idea that the nfl just saw the video is ludicrous

NFL has done a terrible job historically of letting "bad people" continue to have opportunities despite their behavior or actions. As long as they can play put the on the field. Frankly more teams should learn from the patriots( as a jet fan I hate to say that) but they were swift and decisive when it came to Aaron Hernandez

...cant spell denial...can spell no more mansions, Mercedes, shopping sprees, hob nobbing with other players wives...millions of reasons...pun intended.

Wife abuse or women in general at that level isn't unusual...I didn't say CONDONED and not all of them do it..sorta like the groupies who follow players around, wives know, but don't dare mention it ...in SOME sports...Its not accepted, .just overlooked...by demand of the females experiencing it...know of another LARGE sporting type event that its normal in also...one reason we never ever used radios to discuss it...and ONLY with certain officials...I've seen some things that made me want to vomit...but it wasn't 'illegal'...and consensual...at least thru the booze glasses...
But it was repugnant to me and damned immoral...at least within my morals...those folks were used to it...

Keep in mind the 'role models' in the sport...some girls emulate what they see players wives are and do...same way young boys emulate ball players...warts and all...The game within the game?

NFL sucks now....

She's no groupie, they were hs sweethearts. Probably safe to say that this was not the first domestic violence incidents, but as you pointed out it is not uncommon for victims in similar situations to stick with their man(at all economic stratas)

Wait a second.....shouldn't we give this guy a break? He is a young black man, whom society, until recently, has crapped upon. His bad behavior is not his fault. He is a victim of society and we should hold him up as an example to live by....and, after all, she did spit in his face. What did she expect? He deserves no punishment. He is trained to be an animal....he is a professional football player.

Parts of the previous message are to be considered "tongue in cheek."

He is actually from the suburbs. New rochelle(same as the dick van dyke show). Domestic violence tend to transcend all lines(racial, ethnic and economic). It is a bad combination when it involves a football player

Perhaps some good May come out of this(probably) not. The video makes it hard to hide from or deny
