Have a safe and happy Halloween, everybody!

Have you ever encountered any ghosts? Any ghost stories to tell?

I was in Primm's Terrible Bill's hotel one night; suddenly the room temperature got very cold and breezy. I could sense something walking around, little yellow lights circled around the room, the whole thing happened all in two to three minutes. I tried waking up the wife, but she was out cold- Crazy stuff-

I know that I did not drink that much that night before I went to bed, so I spoke to the the front desk the next morning- they said that they have heard similar stories, but do not speak of it to not scare away folks. Someone call Ghost Hunters :D :D

Back in the early 90's we were renovating an 1800's era log cabin that had 2 additions on it ... one was a frame house built in the early 1900's and the other was a 18x18 room that joined the 2 together (when they made the outhouse an inhouse), and added a kitchen making it a two family ( mother in law house ) in the late 1960's early 70's ... that 1960's addition was 14" out of level from one corner to the next, but we tried to save it ... everytime I was in that part of the house working on it I always felt like there was someone behind me ... it never happened anywhere else in the house ... but I could feel the hair on my neck start to stand up, and would always turn around to find no there ( that I could see ) .... There were many people that were born and died in that house ... but I had the feeling it was an elderly woman ... It lasted 3 years but when we finally gave up on that section of the house and tore it down, I never had that sensation again ....

My father in law died in July of 1990, his only grandchild at the time is my son, who was 3 at the time. My mother-in-law lived in Northern California, we lived in Phoenix, AZ. My wife, of course, worried about her mom, left a elderly widow, living alone 800 miles away, and called her quite often.

One afternoon, my mother in law calls, I pick up and we chit chat for a while. My son, calls out from his room, "Is that GrandMother?" I said "Yes son. - do you want to talk to her " He answers "No, but tell GrandMother, that GrandFather says to tell her to ignore that noise in her car - its nothing, dont bother taking it to the shop."

I said 'What are you talking about, when did grandfather tell you this ?" (he had been dead about 3 months at this time). My son says "A little while ago, when I was asleep - Grandfather was talking to me and told me about that sound. He said grandmother is worried and is about to spend money on it taking it to the shop, its just the brakes, and volvo brakes make that sound after a while so forget about it"

I am blown away, because my son (3 and a half) doesnt know squat about brakes or volvos or anything. My hair on my neck was standing up - and I said "He told you in your sleep? " Son says 'Yes, we talk some times about things."

So I go back to the phone and I said "Are you having some problems with your car?" She says "Yes, I am going to the volvo dealer this afternoon." I said "Well, let me tell you what your grandson said " So I told her all that my son had said and she said "Yes, when I try to step on the brakes, it squeaks and scares me." She said " I have an appointment at the volvo shop this afternoon." She went anyway and was told the same thing as the message she got from my son.

(twilight zone music) but hey, I was there. We all talked about it a lot at the time, but my son who is now 22, remembers nothing about this now.
