The point that was made that some may assume that people in the stands know at least a little about the game.....that is what we hope for but unfortunately that lack of knowledge about the game is the reason we have these kind of ridiculous misunderstandings and people get all bent out of shape when their kid is receiving a compliment. It is also the reason we have soooooooo many girls switching teams every year. Some parents think their kid is ALWAYS GETTING CHEATED on playing time or think their kid should be starting over another player when the two kids aren't even on the same level. PARENTS.....be parents and do what parents are supposed to: support your child and the team in a positive way and choose a team wisely. A place where they will be taught, pushed, and given structure and guidance. These types of situations remind me of the guys who tell the story about how close they were to the BIGS but they "blew out" their shoulder in their junior year of high school. People who act like they know BUT DON'T
