the norcal board has been pretty quiet lately. obiously there's no chest thumping about frienldy results, but i figured the topic would liven things up a bit around here.

No comment on any game results, because it was "just a friendly"... HOWEVER, did get to witness a pretty BLATANT display of daddy ball, from a team that supposedly this "never" happens with... But then again, it was "just a friendly"...

you're saying d-ball happens at friendlies too? how are you defining d-ball? or is it just cause DD didn't get to play?

Daddyball in it's very essence... Had nothing to do with own DD... And everything to do with the DD of a member of the coaching staff... Nuff said... Just witnessed it... That's all ;)

Are you for Real??? Want to know the results from a "friendly"? Are you new to the format? Heck, why don't we just "RANK" all the teams by their perfomance this past weekend or give ourselves a false sense that we have a good team and project ourselves to win nationals by our performance. Relax and take the friendlies for what they are. A chance for the players to get to know their coaching staff and players around them. Typically, these are practice games and teams are trying to figure things out, like how there tryouts and picks went. Gotta say it looked like alot of work needs to be done on alot of teams for the area.
