No trashing from here, I was just curious to the post about "taking" 7th place??? I learned a few weeks back that there were SEVERAL tied places in big tourney's and wondered if that tourney handed out only "1" 7th place or SEVERAL and what that persons objective was by posting they "took 7th place" if they were "actually" tied with SEVERAL other teams???

Watched the Sac Breeze v Pumas, parents told me this team was 16u.

CA Breeze listed as from Davis. Close to Sac, I guess... same organization, or just really breezy up in NorCal?

"Sacramento Breeze 18a" was CA Breeze 95. CA Breeze 96 played 16u.

Whoever came up with the name Sacramento Breeze didn't check the urban dictionary...

I'll bet they have those new fall uniforms ordered as we speak. If they didn't know then, they know now...

I'm sure Don can speak for himself, but the organization your referring to is the California Breeze...or as we know them here in NorCal...simply the Breeze. This organization has provided girls in Northern California the opportunity to play competitive fastpitch softball for the last 26 years. So please, don't trash on "Whoever came up with the name Sacramento Breeze", because they didn't. It was probably the tournament director trying to mask the fact a 16u team was playing 18u.
