14U Team Rankings (Bracketologist) May 25th Pre-Memorial Day

It is to bad that blue could not coach all of the teams in Nor Cal. We could just sit around and sing
"Kumbayah" and watch our kid all go D1. The problem in Nor Cal is there is no good coaching on the top teams, they just win and get better despite the coaches. Sorcerer beware, here comes the Monarchs!

Parents ultimately determine what is best for their kid when they are young, thats why they are parents. i dont think softball decisions are any different.

I personally dont know kids that stay on teams that parents are unhappy with. Parents unhappy, bye bye player.

As an umpire I see how coaches interact with players during a game. I don't always here everything that is said but I hear enough. Coaches that do well take the bad with the good. They teach in those bad situations to players within earshot or one on one. In my opinion college coaches want to see how talented players play through the bad times, they know they will happen. Good organizations teach good ways of dealing with adversary, bad organizations (well real teams) only teach to the talented player or their daughter. Monarchs are not up and coming, they have arrived. Grappettes are also an outstanding organization. There are a few more in the 209 that are making progress and moving that way.

Did anybody know that Memorial weekend there was a tournament in Tracy with 18 and 18 gold teams? That went pretty good and it is growing each year. But because Mario doesn't want real late games there is a cap of teams. I think in a couple of years there will be a waiting list in Tracy.
