PGF 12u Results

It doesn't look like it went to well for our NorCal teams down at Premier this year.Looks like Grapettes Norwood had the best run this week, beating RR Gold Miller 4-1 in pool play and getting to 3 round of winners bracket. They were the last NorCal team in the winners bracket. Most disappointing was RR Gold Miller 1-2 in pool play, 1 and in winners bracket then 2 and done in losers bracket. Beating Texas Glory 99 once in winner and once in losers bracket. MIZUNO Garcia had a decent showing. 1 and done in winners bracket, but the had 3 straight wins in the losers bracket before falling to the OC Batbusters. Breeze 99 had a good showing in the losers bracket realign off 3 wins. Looks like we need to spend some more time playing against SoCal teams if we are going to have a strong showing at Premier or Nationals.

Pool play at PGF has no bearing on the bracket play. I'd look at what teams went the furthest in bracket play, not just before dropping from the top side. Our best performers from the area where Mizuno Garcia and Breeze 99.

As far as competing with SoCal, we would need to combine our best teams, carry 18-20 on the roster, and head down there.
