watchtonsofsoftball - LM 12's?? They play in one 14's tournament now they are a top 14's team. You saying they are better than Breeze 96. What are you watching? Breeze 96 in top bracket every Sunday. Has the Lm 12's even won a 12's tournament? And you put them ahead of their own 14's team. WOW

Scuba settle down :D
That was the list of the top 10 teams I saw on that list. AND in no particular order. Just the ones that caught my eye. Breeze arent playing this weekend or I would have mentioned them. Again the top 10 list I saw for THIS weekend. Wait , I did say that Breeze teams were missing from this weekend. Pay attention :D
I know every post we have to mention Breeze 96 for you guys. :o

What I'm watching by the way is a lack of chemistry from EH lady magic, so I wouldnt be surprised if the 12's beat them. Not saying it will happen, Im just saying I wouldnt be surprised if someone told me they beat them. :?

My Bad. Didn't pay attention. Watched the 14's play and I agree. They seem to be missing something. Does anyone know if SJ Sting and Sorcerers in same Metro? If so, how many teams go from that metro?

There is going to be some good metros from Nor Cal. That would be a nice final especially if it is one spot. I havent got to see that Sting team yet, so Im hoping to see them this weekend. I will have to do some major a** kissing to go on sunday though. The wife is still burnt from last weekend.

I had a chance to sit and watch some of the 14u games in Stockton the past two weekends and made some observations. There are only a couple of teams of note out there.

1) The Grapettes coach (pretty sure I know which one he is now) DOES talk a lot. Holy cow does he talk a lot, but you know what? Dude knows stuff. A lot of it is pretty common sense stuff, but literally after every play there he went, telling the girls what he saw and what they should be doing. In a 14-yr old world, that's pretty good for them!

2) Breeze '96 is pretty good. They darn near beat that Grapes team IMHO.

3) Valley Stompers had a team that could hit. Never saw them anywhere in rankings, but they definitely hit the ball and took it to the last two teams they played. They played 16's last week I think and looked good there too.

4) TNT is in dire need of some pitching. Some Big BIG girls on that team (and one little one that absolutely embarassed a runner at home with a HUGE throw out of RF in a 16u game) but if they don't find some pitching soon, they aren't going very far. They played 16's last week - dunno why?

5) Lady Magic looks like they are playing below their ability. Couldn't say where the problem is, but they lack energy at the very least.

6) AASA looked flat. There is a lot of talk about the org, but saw little. Maybe key players are hurt as mentioned? Dunno.

Otherwise, like someone said, there are a few that are looking in.

HEY!

These are the teams currently signed up for NorCals at Twin Creeks. Sorcerer's 16's are signed up at this venue, but 14's so far have not. At this metro there are 4 berths to Nationals. Who do you think the top 4 will be, until Sorcerer signs up? if they do....

Sorcerer 14's are registered out of Concord which is the Oakland Metro association.
