Nothing like seeing orgs go at it! Fight fight fight!

In all seriousness when we played a tournament in Vegas we ran into a few SoCal parents from the OC Dynasty that considered Western Nationals as their destination versus Nationals/PGF. I see on the sacramentoasa.org site that a few teams have paid their entry. None of them from NorCal though. Do any local teams plan on participating in Western Nationals?

I find it kind of funny that one organization would attack another organization who is trying to defend his team from someone who is accusing them of cheating. Especially when that said organization has been questioned about a move they made earlier in the season.

Let me refreshen everyone's memory. 14u team (LM) borrows a player from another organization (Grapes) for Fresno Classic who ultimately pitches against her original orgs 14u team. Then you have this board member on this forum saying their organization did nothing wrong & that their bylaws doesn't state anything about winning & winning at all cost. They're all about the development of the girls. Right? So you borrow a player for a tourney sending a message to your regular players they're not good enough to compete & by the way we're going to pitch her against the organization we borrowed her from & help eliminate them from tourney.

Sportsmanship? Classy? If that isn't the pot calling the kettle black, than I don't know what is. This same board member now calls out another org thinking he is taking the moral high ground. Please! Worry about your own organization & clean your own mess first. For someone who doesn't want to get into a debate, you sure sound like someone who clearly wants one. Sounds like someone who's jealous & bitter.

That's a big 10-4 just win...

Sounds like it's been pretty quiet in LMs front. Might be karma coming back to bite them. Especially how they tore that 14 team apart and the way they disposed some of the original girls from that 14 team. Yeah they don't cut anybody, they just have a way of pushing you out another way. That original 14 team was pretty good and successful than they brought in some new girls to replace the old ones. They haven't been the same since. With exception of a few players, they look like the old Rocklin Hype team.

Congratulations to Breeze 96 for qualifying for PGF Nationals. The other three NorCal PGF spots went to SoCal teams who came to visit.

After losing to AASA, they had to fight through some tough 1-0 games against OBS Monarchs and KG Hitters to win their spot.

Breeze 97 looked great after winning the Fresno Force tourney, but lost to Heat and 96 Breeze in Metros, and then lost both games in the PGF brackets. Maybe as a pure 97, it's tough to win once the HS kids come back.

Going into this tournament we thought the Breeze 97 would be in the hunt, but after watching them, something has changed. Maybe just a bad weekend but it sounds like the same in their metro. I don't think it had anything to do with 96 vs 97 because that team should be able to handle some good 96 teams. They just seemed flat and the coaches didn't seem to care enough to make any changes or do something about it. Never saw them change their defense at all, try some small ball or anything. Just stuck with the same old same old and it wasn't working. I hope they can pull it together for Nationals. that's a good little team.

2k10...
Every coach and organization should defend themselves against slander.
But yet again, the knowledge you spew or lack there of, doesn't cease to amaze me. How do you come to the conclusion that a "rumor" of an illegal player compare to that of a pickup player? And unless you're directly related or involved in this organization, you do not know the facts, they're pure speculation. Too many people feel the need to spread rumors or insinuate they have "facts", when in reality they don't know jack!
Will you backpedal and delete your posts like before? The day will come when individuals will find out who you are and you'll experience karma first hand. Or... someone will post something about your organization, coach, team or your dd. Good luck with that!

Let me say this one more time. We have the UTMOST respect for Scott and his organization! I absolutely support Scott in defending his team against the accusation of cheating! If you read something else into it, you did just that. What I took offense to was the use of the word "ridiculous" at the suggestion that any team would not compete in their metro tournament, out of respect for other teams, when they knew that they would not accept the berth if they win.....be it ASA or Premier.

If Scott's team chooses to participate, fine! Just don't label teams that don't as ridiculous. End of imagined scuffle. Period.

AS for the FF tourney, permission was asked, AND RECEIVED, from the Grapes coach WITHOUT RESTRICTION as to how that player could be used THAT WEEKEND. Additionally, the player was picked up ONLY BECAUSE we would have been UNABLE to field a team that weekend due to INJURIES which still plague the team. If you are upset that she pitched against the Grapes, blame the Grapes coach who gave PERMISSION! Now get over it and your ego and remember the game is for the GIRLS!
