Hey Miss Stepped In It,

Went further than any other NorCal team. Jealous?? I've seen them play, and they are the real deal.....they appear to be getting better by the day! All the NorCal teams played their hearts out at that tournament.

Overall I think that NorCal is starting to produce some great teams at the lower divisions now! It should be an exciting summer!

You may want to use a doormat before stepping in to your house!

Norcaldude....thanks for your updates!

Ahh... actually, I believe there were a few norcal teams that were 1 and 1 on sunday so exactly what did rr do that put them above the rest in this tourney?

Don't misunderstand me, I am not saying RR is not a good team and in fact am excited to see so many good 10's in norcal. It shows a solid future for the game in norcal. RR parents just need to stop making it sound like they have no competition in norcal. Frankly it's insulting to the rest of the 10's there.

So losen up the squeez, pull the stick out and quite acting like RR is the only "A" team in norcal.
If you show no mercy... you deserve no mercy!

Seen some good 10's this past weekend in Fresno..The SoCals were awesome..OCBB,Jynx,Firecrackers and Whatley were very good..typical Socal consistant good..Best NorCal team was obviously RRGOLD..but the NorCals knew that and the Socals know it now...whether it was Saturday or Sunday the Socals were playing to win against RRGOLD..However you rank 'em RRGOLD is the ONLY norcal team deserving of top 5,4,or 3 let alone top 10 ranking.

Ok I know everyone wants to brag or defend their team, but the fact is NorCal as a whole did extremely well through out the entire tournament. You are correct some teams did go 1-1 on Sunday but the fact is RR was the only NorCal team to go undefeated and earn the #1 seed for sunday. The other NorCal teams played tough both days also. Grapettes were hanging in with the OCBB and CC Dirt Dogs played good. It was sad to see the Dogs and RR have to battle it out to move on. All NorCal teams are proving that we can hang with the SoCal teams. Now we just need to get them to come play up here in some of our tourneys.

First off, let me start by saying congrats to the FC for their dominating show at the Classic. Well done! Dunno why you weren't ranked in the SoCal poll but I'm sure you're at the top after this weekend's Classic.

Now as for this piss-in-it character, dunno why you have to be such a HATER   . It just shows your lack of intelligence and ignorance :? . I could understand why others were skeptical of RR at first, but eventually everyone else realized that RR is for real and is the #1 NORCAL (not Cali) team. Never to take anything away from any of the NorCal teams, everyone has given most of the NorCal teams kudos for their accomplishments and even rooted for them, including yours truly. But the fact remains, that RR has more than proven they deserve to be ranked #1 in NorCal. Look at the facts and do your homework. No team in NorCal can say they have accomplished what RR has done so far. You like to talk smack but can't back-up your idiotic statements. RR has defeated all the top NorCal teams at least twice, went to Hemet and went undefeated, and have played in all the championship games in all the tourneys they have entered (with the exception of Fresno Classic in which they were in the semis, losing to the eventual runner-up OC BB). No other NorCal team has come close to this resume.
In response to them going 1-1 on Sundays Classic, you neglected to mention that they defeated SoCal's #2 (SoCal Jynx) & #6 (Team Watley) ranked teams respectively and blew away the B-Rebels in the other game, which earned them the right to have the #1 seed on Sunday and wait for everybody else to catch up. Before losing to the eventual runner-up OC BB, they run ruled a very good CC DirtDogs team not to mention that the game b/w OC BB & RR was actually closer than the score would indicate. If not for one error filled inning, RR was in there neck n neck with BB.

Furthermore, to magnify your stupidity, it is because what RR accomplished in Hemet that got the top SoCal teams talking about NorCal and a big reason why they were signed up to play in the Fresno Classic (do your hmwk and read up on the SoCal blogs) Before RR's dominance in Hemet, NorCal was just a bleep in SoCal. It wasn't until Hemet that the top SoCal entered the Classic. So to argue your other point, yes, the SoCal team entered the Classic to see for themselves if RR was the real deal which I believe RR accomplished by their showing in this past weekend's Classic. Thanks to RR, SoCal is more than aware of their talents as well as help the other NorCal showcase what they are made of. Lastly, RR has proven they could hang with the best SoCal has to offer. Its because of RRs play and competitiveness that has all the other NorCal team wanting to elevate their game to RR's level and wanting to prove that they too also belong. Its why the kids (and to a higher degree, why the coaches and parents) want so very badly play RR to prove this very point. Am I wrong? Its not to say that the 10U RR is the best ever but every now and then there comes a special team that people talk about.

So next time you speak _iss boy...THINK, or maybe you can't because you MISSED all those classes in school. YOU KNOW :!: :!: :!:

Congrats to FC and OCBB in the finals. It was nice getting to see the Top So Cal teams play for once. Too bad OCBB had to play an extra game to get there. Great job to the Grapes who played everyone tight. Little errors made a big diffrence. Great job by RR too. :P :P

Wow!!! What’s going with this last post? After reading all this self worship I think we should all just stop playing the game and be lucky this team is making the rest of us viable in the state if not just Nor Cal. Whatever happened to humbleness & humility. Hey believe me I'm not jealous, mad, upset or a HATER. My resume is cool and will stand by itself. I am also pretty confident of my knowledge in Nor Cal softball and of softball in general. I'm a realist and have been involved with this game for quite some time now both as a parent and a coach to understand who’s good, who’s bad, who’s great & who’s the goat. And while this RR team has been somewhat successful in its journey so far, please cool out and relax from all the we're #1 speeches and propaganda. Frankly while all the personal "self" opinion polls are pretty cool & fun, not to mention overly addictive and obsessive to some, who gives a rats a** whether you're #1 or 100. What is it really going to get you at the end of the day, another medal or some tummy tight t-shirt to wear? I don’t think so. These polls have absolutely no bearing other than somebody's own opinion. I will admit though they are funny for thirst of self approval. I understand RR has been taking some heat on HB, some warranted by parent’s reactions, some brought on by just stupidity and ignorance. The reality is to the RR Gold 10U girls, great job this weekend in performing like an older 10U team-that-has-been-together-for-awhile-should-have. Now the outright ignorance is making statements from the side-sitters (parents) that because RR has been sooooo dominant that is the only reason So Cal teams entered the Fresno Force tourney. Whoaaaa!! Hold on "Fanny Boy". The Force has been a premiere tourney in the state long before your team was even known to be born. The HB blogs should not be your source of reality and facts. Frankly this is the first time I have seen any RR Gold team at any level participate in this event since I have been involved. This is ASA after all hint hint. For your information the So Cal teams were going to be apart of this event whether or not your RR team was going to be there or not. Just to add to the point that the only reason the So Cal teams that did come to Fresno was because the So Cal's Finest Tournament in Hemet didn't offer a 10U division last weekend. That’s why the impact of the 12’s & 14’s were down this year. I’m also going to let you in on another secret. Too many, Nor Cal is still just a bleep in the minds of many in So Cal, sorry. So what was accomplished in Hemet really didn’t matter to them, especially when most of their teams were in Las Vegas that weekend. Moving on to talent; your team didn’t let the World know Nor Cal has talent. That was and has already been established long ago. Just not the amount So Cal has. To have 8 million people in a region makes a difference.

Quote “Lastly, RR has proven they could hang with the best SoCal has to offer. Its because of RRs play and competitiveness that has all the other NorCal team wanting to elevate their game to RR's level and wanting to prove that they too also belong. Its why the kids (and to a higher degree, why the coaches and parents) want so very badly play RR to prove this very point. Am I wrong?”

Finally, it’s great to hang with a certain team or a group of teams for a tourney, but it is the consistency of hanging & playing these teams every weekend for 6 to 7 months that will dictate your greatness or failure. Your comments state if not for 1 inning of errors we were close. I’m sure every team that plays regardless of age or division could and has said the same thing. That’s just the game of Softball. Also I really hope you are not misguided & blinded to think that RR Gold is the standard that teams are striving for. Yes my HB friend, you are very wrong! The kids could care less. Furthermore they are oblivious to all this. What they do understand is wins & losses, not elevating there game to your supreme status or proving they belong on the playing field with you. Now the parents and maybe some coaches are a different story. But my DD team and coaching staff are pretty secure and confident in their own teachings (been there, done that). Experience has been the best teacher for them. I know for sure our team is not wondering, worrying or hoping to see if your team is in a tourney or not. We will play in the events that are deemed to be considered COMPETITIVE!!

Quote “Its not to say that the 10U RR is the best ever but every now and then there comes a special team that people talk about.”

Fanny Boy, this is the best statement yet, especially when nothing has been accomplished yet other than a couple local tourney wins and oh yeah defeats (remember). So to clue you in on the reality of Nor Cal 10U please take notes ………

2006-All American Sports Academy 5th place ASA Nationals
2006-Salinas Storm 9th place ASA Nationals
2007-California Breeze 17th place ASA Nationals
2007-All American Sports Academy 2nd place ASA Western Nationals
2008-Sorcerer 13th place ASA Nationals
2008-San Jose Sting 13th place ASA Nationals
2008-All American Sports Academy 17th place ASA Nationals
2009-Team Unity 5th place ASA Nationals
2009-California Breeze 7th place ASA Nationals
2010-????

Now these teams would qualify to be #1 in Nor Cal if it mattered!! You have to PLAY ASA! Not, well you know the other!

Please be humble and enjoy your team, the girls are the one’s executing in the end, not the editorials!
