Why, because Corey is loud, because he teaches, because he studies the game, because players and parents like him? Or because he outcoaches 98% of other coaches out there, because teams hate to play him, or because they are flat out jealous? Flat out jealous is my choice. Listen to him coach, don't just hear him. I have sent two of my students to play for him and they love him. They wouldn't have gone to him if he was some kind of jerk. COREY CALLS IT LIKE IT IS AND THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO CAN'T HANDLE IT.

I like Corey and I like the way he coaches (teaching). In my opinion, somebody like the poster is a hate filled, jealous, ignorant person.

I can't say it enough...great coach, but do remember he coached in Oakdale. A town with more athletes than they know what to do with & a smart district: they didn't divivde their town into 2 hs' and waterdown the talent pool, the over-stocked talent pool. AND, the Grapettes brought in loads of talent. AND, there is probably a reason he came to Joho besides being asked...the talent :-]

I've been around the sport for around 15 years now and I dont think I've ever seen so much talk about a coach good or bad. If I didnt care for a coach we just moved on or better yet stayed away from that team so as to not even put my dd or myself in that situation. Everyone has options and I just dont see putting this much thought into any one coach. Im sure ILB could care less and will go on as usual. I've seen him enough to know that he is a good coach who will help you kid get better and has taken IMO less talented teams and got the most out of them and alot of times beat the overhyped teams. He is not for everyone, I think we all agree on that. Ok hopefully this post will DIE right after my post!

Wow ! Hide behind a screen name! My daughter plays for him and I wouldn't have anyone else coach her. She has so much respect for him because he has so much softball knowledge, maybe ur daughter couldn't make the team or perhaps she was cut. For whatever reason you have made an ass of yourself.

On another note! He has got players signed. Actually let me rephrase that . Because the player gets herself signed not the coach. He exposed players to coaches ANd in the end the players were signed. We had players who played for a big names and were never offered a thing. Now 3 of them are off to school and 2 are 2012 grads that have verballed. Chelsie n Brianna living the college dream at Texas Southern. And Angie at Newberry.
I am glad he has better things to do than come on hey bucket and see this garbage.
If your players left maybe it was because u weren't teaching them anything! Look in the mirror and don't hide behind a screen name. And just so u know my daughter was a freshman getting contacted while playing for corey Reid! I have a better idea how bout you come watch our team play this weekend. Make sure u bring a pen and paper so u can take notes!

He is a volunteer for a number of years. That equals some nods for kudos. You have plenty of other choices/options. That equals America. Don't know this guy but I know they type, I am the type actually.
